The tray-back Ute is the jack of all trades for Aussie drivers.
What happens when you need a bit more space in the tray? Maybe you are struggling to get the load balance right? Or do you find towing uncomfortable?
This is where a chassis extension comes into play. We extend the chassis of the vehicle in front of the suspension adding between 300mm and 450mm to the overall wheel base. By doing this we increase not only the load space but improve weight distribution and ride characteristics including when towing.

What's included in an ASG4x4 Chassis extension?
Chassis Extension
By moving the rear axle back, we're able to create more stability under heavy loads and towing. Having the rear axle closer to the center of the tray offers better weight distribution.
Extensions available.
300mm: This extension allows for a tray or canopy up to 300mm longer than standard to be fitted.
450mm: This extension allows for a tray or canopy up to 450mm longer than standard to be fitted.
